Heiskell King Burns & Tallman Surgical Associates... accessible private practitioners specializing in minimally invasive procedures and advanced surgical techniques.  The practice features the services of doctors Heiskell, King, Burns, Tallman and Wolen, each offering general and vascular surgical care.  We are happy to welcome our newest physician, Dr. William McBee who brings gynecologic oncology services to our practice.

Timely...  The practice is committed to seeing patients as soon as possible.  In most cases, we will see surgical consults in our office within 24 hours of a request for an appointment.  As compassionate providers, we understand the anxiety caused by delayed responses and especially in the case of patients waiting for biopsy or test results.

Services...  The practice offers comprehensive surgical services from complex surgeries, such as abdominal aorta aneurysm repair, to minimally invasive procedures such as laparoscopy and mammotome breast biopsy.  For your convenience, vascular studies are performed right here in our nationally accredited vascular laboratory.  Our lab offers diagnostic ultrasound, arterial study, breast ultrasound, carotid duplex scan, 2D echocardiogram and others. 

Please consider...  Guidelines recommend colorectal screening starting at age 50 for most, younger for high risk patients.  Our physicians are committed to preventative healthcare and do perform screening colonoscopy.  Medicare now covers screening colonoscopy.  Please ask your family doctor about your screening needs.
